We appreciate the loyalty of our Owners and Vacation Club Members, and are proud to offer another perk of ownership at The Ridge Resorts. New for 2019, Owners and Vacation Club Members at The Ridge Resorts have a separate area for checking in, enjoying a snack,  or simply relaxing.

Start Your Vacation Faster

The Owners lounge is open from 8am to 8pm to Owners and Vacation Club Members at any of the four Ridge properties.  Newspapers, coffee and ice water, and light refreshments are provided. Enjoy shorter check-in times, and connect with fellow Owners, in a welcoming environment.

The new lounge is located to the left of the fireplace when you arrive at the Ridge Clubhouse (formerly the Ridge Club Deli location). In addition to a separate check-in counter, kick back in one of our comfortable chairs by the fireplace, or setup your laptop at one of our desks if you need to check one more thing for work before you can start your vacation.

Other Check-in Options

Owners and Vacation Club Members can check in at this location and skip the Front Desk line. Staff will be available throughout the day, especially during peak check-in times. If not staffed, our Front Desk agents and Concierge will be available to assist as needed.

Owners at The Ridge View, Ridge Crest, or Ridge Point may still check in at the Ridge View on weekends. The Ridge View Front Desk is located on the third floor. Staff is available Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:30am to 6pm.

In addition, Owners at The Ridge View, Ridge Crest, or Ridge Point can still check-in anytime using our lock box system. Check-in lock boxes are located at each property entrance.  Just pick up the phone by the entrance, dial 1800 or 0, and you’ll be given an access code to the lock box that contains your Welcome Packet and room keys.

We look forward to welcoming you back to The Ridge Resorts soon!

New Look, New Logo

We have big news! With our first logo change since 2006, The Ridge Resorts is pleased to present our new logo and website. You’ll see the new look wherever we are online — like our website and social media channels; very soon you’ll see it in all of our printed products, as well.

For over thirty five years, The Ridge Resorts has been a premier vacation destination at Lake Tahoe. As we’ve grown as a resort, our logo and brand has stayed pretty much the same. Now, with a fresh, modern logo across all of our properties, we are ready to step into the future — while staying true to who we are as a resort.

Our Evolution

Our new logo features a soaring eagle, and a new color pairing of grey and gold. The Eagle has long been an American symbol for great strength, leadership and vision. As we look to the future, our management team and staff will continue to work hard to ensure the integrity of our property and the quality of our guest experience.  Our original logo included an eagle and mountain, and as we hark back to our roots, we look forward to a strong future as a resort destination for generations to come.

In addition to the new logo, our new website features more information about our sister properties — The Ridge View,  Ridge Crest, and Ridge Pointe — as well as the helpful guidance our guests have come to expect. With information on our resort amenities, tips on activities and events, and inspiration for planning a wedding, our website aims to be a robust resource for all our guests.

We hope you like this new look and feel for The Ridge Resorts! Look out for more updates as we continue to try to better serve our owners and guests with a clean, modern, user-friendly look.

From concept to resort, The Ridge Tahoe history spans more than 30 years

Nestled on a Sierra mountaintop between Lake Tahoe and Carson Valley, The Ridge Tahoe has wowed, dazzled and kept guests returning again and again for more than 30 years.

The area’s original full-service vacation ownership resort, which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, is long regarded as an iconic favorite at South Shore. Its appeal has resonated for over a generation for being accessible to the action while removed from the bustle.

The Ridge Tahoe has stood the test of time, always striving to go the distance for its guests. In 30 years the resort went from a concept pitched inside a tiny Stateline business office to what it is today an 11-acre, 302-unit village with 45,000 square feet of clubhouse and every amenity one expects at a first class resort.

Sitting at more than 7,000 feet, the resort combines a comprehensive package of modern amenities with year-round outdoor recreational attractions that make Lake Tahoe one of the country’s most popular destinations. The stunning panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada are timeless and have served as picture-perfect backdrops to thousands of weddings over the years.

Managed by Resorts West, The Ridge Tahoe offers fully appointed accommodations at its Ridge View, Ridge Crest and Ridge Pointe properties at the top of Kingsbury Grade. From one and two-bedroom condominiums to deluxe hotel rooms, suites and year-round vacation rental units that include plenty of space to enjoy the fully-appointed kitchens, living room with fire place and balcony.

For three decades, The Ridge Tahoe has earned a reputation as a family resort. Kids who grew up on vacation at The Ridge are now bringing their own children every year to enjoy the resort, its 30-seat movie theater, kids’ arts and crafts center, games, arcades and in summer months miniature golf, putting green and playground. Traditions and memories are built here with members returning to create more.

“Our members expect a high level of quality and we are always adding new amenities, improvements, ideas and services,” said Dan Garrison, general manager.

Over the three decades, The Ridge Tahoe has incorporated a philosophy that makes its members and guests the No. 1 priority with desirable amenities and customer service. Its staff of 225 knows many of the guests personally since most have worked at The Ridge for years — over 20 percent of the staff has a minimum of 10 year’s experience.

When it comes to longevity, Garrison, 58, has first-hand experience. He began his Ridge career the day it opened in 1982 as their Transportation Manager and climbed the ladder to Purchasing Manager, Assistant Resort Manager, Assistant General Manager, then Senior Vice President/General Manager in 2006. Dan was named a partner with Resorts West in 1995.
